“Your retreat had considerable transformative power for me and I’m very grateful for your insights. I felt so relaxed and powerful that I tackled the Malahat on Sunday without any physical complaint… my sister, a fellow cyclist, was pretty impressed……It is a rare teacher who has a gift with apt phrases, similes etc. You treat language carefully and with respect for its power and limitations….I’m a little in awe. The food was perfect too!”- Gary

Monthly Massage
Nights Victoria:
Massage Nights are an opportunity for men to gather and offer / receive touch, massage and body work. These workshops will compliment the ongoing Saturday classes. We are currently exploring Chakras
Much of the work we have already been doing in our yoga practice is helping to stimulate the chakras, (nerve centres) which run up the length of the spine from out root ( Mooladhara ) to our crown, ( Sahasrara ). By bringing in different vocabulary, refining practices, adding some breathing techniques and meditations we are building our understanding. Through more mobility and increasing awareness around these nerve centres we are increasing spinal health: cranial sacral fluids moving which bathe spinal chord & central nervous system (CNS), massaging the discs which separate each vertebra, a healthy CNS is able to function more effectively, openly.
Then there’s the conversation about Tantra, Kundalini and the rising of energy from the lower to higher chakras.
Sometimes the practice is stronger than words, come join us for ongoing weekly practice or for some of these great workshops!
